Born July 3, 1924 in Urmia, Iran. Enlisted in the Army December 8, 1942 at Chicago, Illinois. Servedg with the 10th Mountain Division and assigned to the 86th Infantry Regiment, Companies L and M, as well as the 85th Infantry Regiment, Company F. Stationed at Camp Hale, Colo.; Camp Swift, Tex. and Camp Carson, Colo. He also saw combat in Italy. Received a Bronze Star Medal near Mount della Spe on April 14, 1945.
